Radke a eu plusieurs altercations avec la police depuis 2006. Il a également été condamnée à 5 années de sursis en liberté surveillée pour sa participation à un combat qui a eu lieu en mai 2006. Le combat à mené à la mort par balle de Ryan Wilkins, 18 ans, tué par un ami proche de Ronnie Radke présent sur les lieux et qui était armé. Ronnie Radke, réelement impliqué dans le meurtre, à plaidé coupable. Le groupe a alors du stopper tout voyage et n'a pas donné d'autre commentaire concernant les faits. C'est actuellement Craig Mabbitt (Blessthefall) qui remplace Ronnie Radke en tant que leader du groupe et chanteur principal. En revanche, un rapport a été fait sur le profil MySpace du groupe déclarant que Craig Mabbitt chante pour trois shows et qu'ils n'ont encore fait aucun choix défini quant au chanteur.

Former Escape the Fate singer Ronnie Radke was "caught by surprise" when he was arrested on Tuesday, Nevada Deputy U.S. Marshal Michael Picou told Buzznet on Wednesday.

Police arrested Radke, who had been wanted by authorities for jumping parole, on Tuesday. He was admitted at 6:06 p.m. and is currently being held at Nevada's Clark County Detention Center, according to the center's Web site. A representative for the center told Buzznet on Tuesday that Radke was arrested at 5:30 p.m. and that a future court date was not yet available.

He is being charged with one count of probation violation, and can't be bonded out of jail.

On Wednesday, Marshal Picou shed more light on Radke's arrest, saying that police "caught him by surprise" at a residence in Henderson, about 15 miles outside of Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Sun had reported that Radke was arrested at the intersection of Arroyo Grande Boulevard and Sunset Road.

Radke was "arrested without incident" and didn't put up a fight – the matter was "nothing worthy of a TV show or movie," the officer said.

Picou added, however, that Radke "wasn't completely compliant." Police had him in custody "before he knew what was going on," according to the officer.

Picou said that he was not aware of any additional charges Radke might be facing, but he confirmed that the singer was indeed soliciting people for money to "allegedly reform his band," as had been previously reported.

According to a statement police from the police, "Law enforcement officers familiar with the investigation were doubtful all of the money would be used for this purpose, but suspected the money would be used to support his rock star lifestyle and previously known drug use while avoiding capture."

Former Escape the Fate singer Ronnie Radke, who had been wanted by authorities for jumping parole, has been arrested.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that Radke was arrested in Henderson at the intersection of Arroyo Grande Boulevard and Sunset Road, about 15 miles outside of Las Vegas.

The 24-year-old Radke has been on parole for battery stemming from a 2006 fight that led to the death of Michael Cook. He had been sentenced to five years' probation in Las Vegas and ordered to pay almost $100,000 in restitution but jumped parole, Fox 5 reported. The Sun reports that Radke had failed to report to his probation officer.

In a further development, the Sun also reports that Radke had been asking fans for donations to reconvene with Escape the Fate, at least in threory. However, according to a statement police reportedly made to the outlet, "Law enforcement officers familiar with the investigation were doubtful all of the money would be used for this purpose, but suspected the money would be used to support his rock star lifestyle and previously known drug use while avoiding capture."

During the 2006 altercation, Cook was shot and killed by one of Radke's friends, Chase Rader. However, the charges were dropped after Rader claimed self-defense.

Former Escape the Fate singer Ronnie Radke, who has been on parole for battery from a 2006 fight that led to the death of Michael Cook, is reportedly wanted by authorities.



The 24-year-old Radke had been sentenced to five years' probation in Las Vegas, but according to local news station Fox 5, police said he has "jumped parole and is a wanted man."

"Still waiting for justice ... now to have Ronnie on the loose is another slap," said Cook's mother, Setta Freeman, according to Fox 5. She said she hopes he turns himself in.

During the 2006 altercation, Cook was shot and killed by one of Radke's friends, Chase Rader. However, the charges were dropped after Rader claimed self-defense.

Freeman wrote a letter to Buzznet in January after reading numerous insensitive posts about her son. "I have already seen posts that blame me for ruining teenagers ... to those people ... you don't know me or my son, and I will try not to take these attacks to heart. To answer questions ... Michael did have an older sister and two younger brothers, a mother, a father, a step-mother, a step-father, a serious girl in his life, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who miss him," Freeman stated.
